Swim classes are structured according to American Red Cross guidelines.
The class levels will be: Water Exploration, Primary Water skills/ Stroke Readiness, and Stroke Development.
Information on the prerequisites and skills taught at each level will be available at the office and will be posted on the bulletin board. The instructors will determine placement in any level beyond Water Exploration. Please feel free to discuss the appropriate level for your child with them prior to the start of the session.
PLEASE NOTE: Parents of younger children who are taking swim lessons should be prepared to be in the water with their children or sit on the edge of the pool with them. Parents of 4 and 5 year olds may be requested to move away from the immediate pool area during their children’s lessons so that the children are not distracted by their presence.

Class size will be limited to 10 students per instructor.
We ask that you sign up for an entire two– week period and make every effort to attend all classes during the session.
