New barracudas swim team coach
Berkeley Swim Club is pleased to announce that Al Ledgin is returning in 2011 for his third season leading the Baracudas.
Coach Al comes to Berkeley with over 20 years coaching experience for all different age groups and is an ASCA certified coach.
He’s coached 4 swimmers to Olympic trials and various others to Junior Nationals. Al’s teams have taken 1st place 7 times in ISI Junior Olympics. Al also worked as a USS development coach at the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs.
Currently Al is the head coach for Madison High School Girls Swim Team and assistant head coach for Morris County Swim Club. We are all very happy to have Al Ledgin as our head coach this year and look forward to an exciting 2011 swim season!
As always, we need lots of volunteers and help run the meets.
